“Unique idyllic place to stay on Flores”
Our accommodation was a stone cottage in its own garden with two cows in a tiny adjacent field. The cottage is one of several, originally comprising a farming village on a hillside overlooking the sea. Its backdrop is verdant cliffs with waterfalls. It is a place of peace and tranquility. The village was abandoned and the cottages have been restored for holiday accommodation. Ours had a dehumidifier, comfortable bed, heater, microwave and two ring electric hob. It is basic, but if this is the kind of place that attracts you, you won’t mind! There are restaurants and a shop in the nearby village of Faja Grande. Free wifi was available in reception.
